Student Learning Upgrade

CIPFA has ‘upgraded ‘ its Student Learning Centre (SLC) in a move it hopes will endear it to online PQ users. The layout has been enhanced, claimed CIPFA and there are now extra learning tools ‘available’. CIPFA has been listening to users, and the new set-up provides a module list, that makes it easier to find what you are looking for. It believes the chances also affords better learning content navigation. PQs can now create a personal journal fore keeping notes while they learn and there is a webliography to store useful web links (we call that favourites). Module related discussion forums have also been introduced along with easier access to ‘ask the tutor’ and printing of PDF documents. The go-live date was 18 January.
